I'm not sure how I'm giving a chain a 5 star but damnit I'm a fan. Over lent I gave up meat and chicken for 40 days like a fool and Pita Pit came to my rescue with their delicious veggie options. I've come here may 6-7 times and got the tuna with my variety of options so each time it tasted different. I pay I think like $6 because I bring my own water like a boss. This location so far has been clean, quick, and easy to park in. I have no issues with the staff and the food has been consistently good. I'm fan, you've got me Pita Pit.

First time visiting Pita Pit and i am a fan. Looks and feels like subway as you order your pita Sammy and add toppings and sauces of your choice. Therein lies the difference. Choices are way healthier than most other sandwich shops. Fresh spinach, alfalfa sprouts, cukes etc. Take note Subway! Some of us prefer real greens to add. Falafals, hummus and all kinds of meat and chicken options. Did I mention sauces? Tzatziki, chipolte, teriyaki jalapeño ranch just to name a few. They offer breakfast pitas, veggie, chicken, gyros and more. Very impressed with all the offerings and 3 of us ate for less than $20! Only critique for this location is, clean up the restroom! No matter how busy you are, ain't nobody got time for unsanitary conditions!

***Pita Pit, a regional fast food chain, combines gyros and pitas with a customizable Subway/Chipotle-like approach; the pita burritos here are easy to eat and satisfying*** Pita Pit is a small regional chain that serves gyro, chicken, falafel, and other pita sandwiches in a customizable, Chipotle-esque setup. Pita Pit allows you to build-your-own pita burrito; despite the thin pita bread, the pita held up fairly well as a burrito and was much easier to eat than a typical gyro pita sandwich. At Pita Pit, you can customize your pita burrito with all kinds of proteins, vegetables, spreads, cheeses, and sauces. For proteins, you have gyro, chicken, Philly steak, turkey, ham, tuna, and falafel. I think you have other options too. Pita Pit allows you to add a lot of toppings--some traditional and some nontraditional. The good thing is that almost every topping can be added at no additional cost. Available toppings included romaine, shredded lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, hummus, cheddar, provolone, feta, parmesan, and sauces like tzatziki, honey mustard, BBQ, ranch, and much more. I customized my pita burrito with mostly traditional ingredients. I had the falafel and added romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, roasted pepper hummus, feta, and tzatziki. The pita burrito was good. All of the toppings were fresh and I enjoyed the falafel. The inside of the falafel was fairly moist while the outside had a good crunch without being too dry or burnt. The falafel had a nice flavor too (well seasoned). Prices are reasonable. Pita Pit might be more expensive than most fast food restaurants, but Pita Pit is also more satisfying than most fast food joints. Service was friendly and quick. This Pita Pit is in a very simple and uninteresting space, but the dining area is clean and comfortable. Pita Pit is a satisfying spot for a quick and not too expensive or heavy lunch. Since I am not that familiar with regional fast food options in Florida, I am not sure how Pita Pit compares to other regional chains. That being said, Pita Pit serves satisfying food and I think it would do well in California. Pita Pit is located in a retail and dining strip that has its own free parking lot. It is easy finding an open space.

If you weren't aware, Pita Pit is a chain specializing in - guess what? Pitas! (American style). They have a lot of great options, and if you've never been to one, I highly recommend you check it out. You can get a filling, delicious, fairly nutritious meal for about $7. They have options like whole wheat pitas, the toppings include lots of vegetables (I love the bean sprouts!) as well as fresh, good options like feta and tzatziki sauce. This location is very good. It is always clean, the staff is positive and the service pleasant. The ingredients always seem very fresh. And if you're a Redskins fan like me, there's a big guy behind the counter who is always willing to talk shop! The main reason this isn't a five-star for me is because I have had multiple experiences where they are out of so many ingredients, I have left without getting anything. It has been months since this happened to me though. So go with confidence, and enjoy a pita! I'm partial to the gyro, the chicken Caesar, and the super Greek.

Went in today with a buffalo pita my friend's boyfriend had picked me up that was completely wrong (his fault, not Pita Pit's) and they made me a new pita right away and of course it was delicious! Thanks, guys!

Very yummy! A smaller place but there's always seating available. Nice staff. The only thing I would improve on is the speed. But I'm very satisfied!

I think they have improved on their cleanliness, which was nice to see. The food is always good, the atmosphere is chill. Its great for quick, quality 'fast food' and easy meal when running round town. I have been to all the Pita Pits in Fort Myers, and can speak highly of them all.

I was just introduced to this chain. Maybe other Pita Pit restaurants are ok but this place has some serious cleaning needs. They handle dirty rags while wearing gloves and then build your pita using the same gloves. There is a general lack of hygiene, face touching, walking into the back room and then back to making your sandwich with the same gloves... etc. The deli slicer was covered in old meat sitting at room temperature growing lots of yummy bacteria. Even the cash register is covered in a sticky film. And to top it off, I pulled a long brown hair with gray roots out of my half eaten pita. I learned two things, someone seriously needs to get their roots done and the staff needs some food safety education.
